$10,000 worth of prize money and many other prizes to be given away on the day thanks to Epic Kayaks.
Unload & Park - The start will be from Palm Beach or Shelly Beach dependant on the conditions on race day. You will need to organise a friend to drop you at the start of race and pick you up from the finish.
Course - Will run down wind from either Palm Beach (north of the pavillion on surf beach side) to Shelly Beach or opposite direction pending wind conditions. For course direction please look at the wesbite or if unsure call 0422 235 185 after 9am on the day of the race.
The race will start from beyond the breaking waves, approx 50-100m off the beach and finish on the beach, or in water pending conditions. Leg ropes/ Paddle leashes are compulsory for this race.
Presentation - Steve Wood trophy will be awarded to the first competitor across the line. Prizes will be awarded to each category. Series winners will be announced at the presentation with double points on offer for the Epic Kayaks 20 Beaches Classic.
Please note that on the day entries will incur a $10 surcharge. Blue Oceanseries race singlets must be worn for the race, if you do not already have one, they must be purchsed on the day for $20. Online entries close on Wednesday 17th December at midnight.
